Ladies and dirty old men, i mean, gentlemen:
Today I will attempt to dye my hair blond. Everyone who I've consulted think it's a bad idea, but fuck it I'm dying my hair blond.
...Only, it won't actually be blond because there is no bleach in this formula, and my hair will just get a little lighter. The same thing happens why I try to dye my hair bright red or orange. For asians, the whole hair colour section at the store is called BROWN. Many, many different shades of brown that must be picked very carefully. Because you might end up with that horrible dark brown instead of the dark brown of the season. PFFT whatever. Pick a random box and you'll have some random brown that looks like any other random brown from another random box!
By the way, toothpastefordinner.com is the place to be if you love random shit as much as I do!
But wouldn't it be cool if there are little things you can do to look more like Jessica Alba? NO! ...I mean, yes... but, NO! Anyway she's hot. But she'll never beat Angelina.
Hmm. I'm having second thoughts about this hair colouring business. I kind of like my hair this specific shade of brown. BUT WHATEVER! Random brown here we go!

Do you think your hair will turn like a "Wheat" colour? I have a friend that sort of has that colour! It's pretty nice, although she also has like 2 other colours mixed in, maybe that's why she looks cool :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I've only dyed my hair one colour which is like orangy-red? I go to a person to dye it, no box stuff. But it depends on how long I leave the pressure cooker thing on my head for the colour to show through, why all the confusion with numbers?
FreakiN Chinese hair-stylist!! I told him cut it "SHORTER", but I was speaking in Chinese so I guess he mis-interpreted it as cut it "SHORT". Then he comes back with an electric shaver and.....yeah....well, i'm not bald, my hair is just back to when I had short hair :P All my beautiful dyed hair :...(
Haha, poor vain Gaydriana. you can always get it coloured again. it's about time anyway. you shouldn't look like a hobo just to keep your orange. but the highlights did look good!

first off: printing, data-base-ing and setting goals to finish to leave time for blogging? sounds like me @ my gov't job last summer. not to mention the boss being away always. except they blocked blogger and msn and gmail. that made life quite miserable, especially since i didn't have 'net elsewhere.
hmm... i'm glad i can't relate to the roommate stuff. the advantages of living in the harlem, where none of your roommates want to bring their one-night stands.

as for hair dye... somehow i've never experimented with it, beyond purple hair mascara i think. and brown hair looks pretty on chowse regardless. :)
oh! i just read the first ottawa post. go take pictures of these lovely "big" animals! because of course, being a pokium, i would be very interested in them :)
ReplyDeletePokium, Yeah I am doing Co-Op in HK for 4 months! It's really fun once you get pass the inital phase of adapting to the air pollution and coping with any foreign sicknesses hehe :)
